About BDPF

Who we are

Practitioners, Researchers, Data Scientists, [you]. The Broadband Data and Policy Forum is for anyone interested in or working with data related to Internet access in the United States.

Why

People working in the broadband data ecosystem come from many different environments and roles which means opportunities for collaboration, information exchange, or networking can be challenging to find. As a result, the knowledge and skills developed in these respective environments and roles can remain siloed.

What we do

The aim of this group is to meet people where they are in the broadband data ecosystem through a community of practice that looks like:

  • Walk-throughs/demonstrations/discussions of data analyses, data tools, maps, and more
  • Relevant policy updates
  • Workshops to engage members through hands-on learning about a tool/topic
  • Annual networking events
